Why I’m painting my own nails.

In 2019, I got my first non-gel manicure in years! I don't remember when I first got gel, but when I first got gel, I have never stopped getting gel manicures regularly.

The reason I decided to stop getting gel and just get normal nail polish is so that I can start painting my own nails and save money! I usually spend about $27 dollars on a gel manicure, not including tip. If I round that to about ~ $30 to include tip, and I get my nails done say... every 4 weeks? In one year, I spend about $390 on getting gel manicures! Thats $390 I could be saving!

I recently finished reading a book called "Love your life, Not theirs" by Rachel Cruze, and in short, it's motivated me to be better with my money! I'm so excited to start this journey to save money and pay off debt! One of my first steps was by eliminating gel manicures, and so far, I'm not regretting anything!
