Louis Vuitton Montsouris BB

The Louis Vuitton Montsouri BB is one of Louis Vuitton’s latest mini backpack and I just love her so much. She is so much more cuter in person and I’ve always wanted a backpack and this is what I have been waiting for!

As far as sizing, the measurements of the bag are 6.7 x 7.9 x 4.1 inches. It has aged natural leathers monogram coated canvas, cowhide leather trim, textile lining, gold-hardware. It comes with these two adjustable and removable leather straps that can be adjusted to a minimum of 32.7 inches and a maximum of 42.1 inches. This bag can be worn as a backpack, crossbody, or shoulder carry. This bag can also be made in France, Spain, Italy or in the USA.

This bag also comes in two colors. I have the one in monogram with vachetta, but there is also one in monogram canvas with black leather. I decided to go with the vachetta because I liked the brown interior much more than the black leather with burgundy interior.

I love the magnetic closure with the leather drawstrings. I’m glad it’s not a buckle because if so, I don’t know if I would like it so much because I feel like it would be such a hassle. Although the magnet feels fairly strong, I wouldn’t wear this as a backpack anywhere that I feel might get pick-pocketed. Instead, I would wear this as a crossbody so that I can make sure no one is going through my bag when it’s on my back.

Inside the bag there is also a single open pocket. It’s big enough to fit a key pouch or key holder. I did not get a bag organizer for this backpack and I ndon’t see myself getting an organizer for this bag in the future. I feel like I would be able to find everything just fine since it is also a mini bag.

So far, I am loving the quality of this bag. It looks great. I know there is some raised concern with the folded canvas corners and how they can’t be repaired/replaced unlike Vachetta…  but honestly —  I don’t see myself throwing this bag around. I’m not going to be afraid of it. We will see down the line how this bag holds up.
